Meet Vickie
People are interested to know that I was born and raised in New Orleans, and most of my family still lives there. (They are all Katrina survivors!) After attending college at Loyola University in the city, I pursued my love of travel by working for a travel agency. Within five years, I had opened my own travel agency, and then spent the next ten years as the owner and operator, where I began learning the importance of sales, marketing, and customer service.

In 1988, my husband, Paul, and I moved from New Orleans to New Jersey where we have made our home with our two dogs, Bud & Sissy.

From 1988 to 2000, my career included sales and marketing positions at the corporate offices of Hilton, Marriot and Wyndham Hotels.

The decision to direct my experience into Real Estate became the perfect fit! Not only was my passion for sales and marketing a great asset, but my husband and I purchase, renovate and sell older homes in the area. With that kind of hands-on experience, I’ve been able to help my home buyers access the quality of construction of homes, evaluate home inspectors reports, find reputable suppliers for home repair, and find “diamonds in the rough”.

I enjoy my work now more than ever, so it’s hard to believe that eight years have passed so quickly. My favorite part of the job is offering my customers state-of-the-art technology to market and sell their homes, as well as helping buyers utilize that technology to obtain all the information they need to make the best choice in their purchase.

I was especially proud to have listed and found the buyer (on my website!) for a $2.3 million home in Hunterdon County, NJ which was a record sale in the area. I received the Re/Max Platinum Sales Award for 2005 and 100% Club for 2006, the NJ Circle of Excellence Silver Award for 2005 and the Bronze Award for 2006, and have earned membership into the Luxury Home Marketing Institute.
